THIRTY-SIX
Elizabeth slowly woke up, coughing a little at what was left of the chemical in the room. Her head pounded horriably and her eyes burned at the brightness of the room.
"Lucky…" She groaned, forcing herself to set up. She desparately glances around the room and is filled with panic. The only people with her are Luke and Robert. Lucky and Anna where nowhere in sight. "Lucky!!!" She screamed, waking Luke up.
"Lucky! Lucky!" Luke called getting to his feet and searching desparately for his son. "Lucky!!!"
Robert sat up and looked around the room, asseting the situation. Sighing, he buried his head in his hands. Faison. Faison took his Anna and Luke’s son. He had somehow failed them both.
"Lucky!" Luke called one more time.
"It’s no use Luke. They’re gone. Faison took them," Robert groaned.
"No. No! I did not come all this way
just to let Faison get his hands back on my son!"
"Well he did and not only that he took my wife as well. But how? How did
he find us?"
"I don’t know and don’t care. We need to concentrate on finding him and
getting them back,"Luke growled.
"Lucky," Elizabeth began to sob again, unable to believe that she was again alone.
"Oh no…what about Elizabeth?" Robert looked at Luke. "We can’t take her with us. It’s bad enough that we’ve put her in this much danger."
"Laura will take care of her," Luke snorted, pacing the floor. He had no idea where to start looking for Lucky. Faison can have him anywhere by now.
"Well let’s get her back to Port Charles then we’ll get started on our search," Robert raced upstairs to pack Elizabeth’s things knowing that she wasn’t in any condition to do it herself.
Luke pulled the sobbing girl into his arms. "Don’t worry Cowgirl. We’ll bring Lucky back home safe and sound. I promise."
"But Faison’s so mean…there’s no telling what he’ll do to Lucky now. What if he hurts him…"
"Shhh darlin. Don’t think about that right now. Lucky’s going to be fine. You must believe that."
"Lucky’s going to be fine," Elizabeth wiped away a tear, trying to gain control of her raging emotions.
"Now we’re taking you back to Port Charles. You’ll be staying with my wife until we fix the situation."
Elizabeth silently nodded. "I don’t want Lucky to die."
"Shhh darlin. He won’t. Soon you and the Cowboy will be together again and Faison Cesar will be dead. He’s not escaping with his life this time," Luke growled, tightening his hold on Elizabeth. "Faison’s going to regret this."

Annah groaned as she woke up. Her head felt like it’s been ran over by a train. Sighing she takes in her surroundings and notes that she’s in some kind of apartment and it’s moving. Looking around the room she gasps in surprise and fear as she sees she’s not alone. Lucky Spencer lays unconcious against the far wall. Not wanting him to wake up alone she goes to him and takes his hand, drawing comfort from the familiar presence.
"Ah my love. At last you’re here," Cesar Faison enters the apartment.
"Where are we?"
"One of my private trains running along a private track. No one knows of this. Not even Helena. I see you’re keeping the young man company," Faison crossed his arms and looked at Annah curiously. "So young and innocent. It’s always the young and innocent that pay for the crimes of the parents. But it doesn’t have to be that way my love."
"What?"
"He can be our son. You can be my wife. All three of us can live happily
in our own world. What do you say?"
"You’re insane! Do you honestly think that Lucky will forget about his life in Port Charles? He has parents that love him! A brother and a sister! A girlfriend he loves very much!"
"A couple of brainwashing sessions and he’ll forget about them. He’ll believe us to be his parents. So what do you say?"
"Go to hell."
Faison only laughed. "Just think about my offer Annah. You won’t be the only one benefitting. Young Spencer will too. He’ll get a new chance at life. A new mother and father…"
Anna doesn’t answer. She just sets guardingly beside Lucky making sure that Faison doesn’t get any closer to the teen.
"Think about it," Faison smiled once more before disappearing back to the engine room.
"Oh Lucky I’m so sorry," Annah brushed a few strands of hair away from Lucky’s face, noting just how much he looked like his parents. Laura and Luke did well. She wondered what Robin looked like at his age. What she had been like.
"D-dad," Lucky groaned, beginning to wake up.
"Shhh Lucky. It’s ok. You’re not alone," Anna squeezed his hand.
"Elizabeth?"
"No it’s Anna."
Lucky’s eyes were now wide open and he was looking around. Anna could tell that he was wanting to panic but was forcing himself to stay calm.
"What happened? Where are we? Where’s Elizabeth and the others?"
"Cesar Faison happened. He’s kidnapped us both and now we’re on his private train heading towards god knows where. But don’t worry. Robert and Luke will find us. I’m sure of it," Anna comforted the young man who had buried his head in his hands.
"He’s never going to let us go is he? Even if we’re rescued he’ll come back," Lucky began to sob, missing his life before the fire where the only thing he had to worry about was to take everything he owned to New York or leave somethings behind.
"Shhh Lucky. It’ll be fine. You’re not alone now. I won’t let him hurt you," Anna wrapped her arms around him in a motherly hug.
Faison bursts in with a armful of clothes. "Here. Put these on and take those off."
"What? Why?" Anna tightens her hold on Lucky.
"No questions just do as I say. If you care to keep the boy safe that is," Faison barged out, pleased with himself. Anna was soon to be his. Using her maternal instincts towards Lucky was a genius plan. "I’ll be back for your old clothes in five minutes so start changing."
Glaring at the door, Anna picked up the black gown that had been picked out for her. "This is ridiculous. But we have no choice if we plan to stay alive."
"No. I’m not changing into those."
"Lucky…"
"No!" Lucky turned away from her and faced the wall.
Five minutes later Faison did return to notice that Anna had changed, but Lucky had outright refused.
"Why haven’t you changed?" He demanded, then shook his head. "Never mind that. I gave a order and I expect it to be followed! Now get into those clothes now!"
"Lucky please…" Anna begged.
Lucky turned around and glared at Faison. "Go to Hell."
"Ok. Fine since you want this done the hard way. And believe me young Spencer, you won’t like this a bit…or maybe you will. The guards did say you liked it rough."
"What?" Fear jumped into Lucky’s voice, getting the gist of what Faison was threatening.
"Guards! Take young Spencer and get him into these clothes," Faison yells. Lucky’s eyes widen when he saw the same guards he had the first time enter the room. "What happens to the boy while he’s out of his clothes is not my concerned."
"Faison what are you doing?!" Anna steps protectively in front of Lucky. "Don’t do this. He’ll change on his own!"
"The boy had his chance. Besides, all that Spencer pride he has acquired over the past month has to be vanquished somehow. Believe me, this is just the thing. Guards!"
"Yes sir!" The head guard grinned as Faison pulled Anna out of the way. "Too bad your little girlfriend isn’t here to save you this time lover."
"N-no! No!" Lucky began to struggle against the guard’s hold, but as more guards joined him, it was useless. Anna tried to help but Faison held her firmly. "No! Please! I’ll change on my own please!"
But Lucky’s cries fell on deaf ears. Anna jumped at the bang of the closing door as Lucky was dragged out.
"My God Faison what are they planning to
do to him!" Anna whirls on her captor. "Answer me! What are they
going to do to that boy!"
Faison smiled evily. "The same thing you will be doing to me sooner or
later Anna."
Anna’s eyes widen. "You sick bastard. All of you."
Faison laughed. "You know…you can save Lucky from all of this. My guards would be forbiddened to even look at him if you agreed to my little plan."
"What become your wife and allow you to brainwash Lucky to believe he’s our son?" Anna asked with disgust.
"Just think of all the pain and humiliation you can spare Lucky by doing this. I’ll have him forget about the times with the guard. He’ll know nothing but the love and security of his two parents…us."
"And if I refuse?"
"Well let’s just say the guards find the boy quite pleasurable. A thing
like this…it’ll destroy the boy eventually. Can you really live with that? I’ll
leave you alone to think about it," Faison grinned, strolling out of the
room.
Anna sinks to the floor, fear and hopelessness beginning to overwhelm her. They were trapped. Faison had them trapped and his perverted guards were doing things to Lucky that no young man should go through and they would probably keep doing so unless…no! No she can never give into Faison and she can never let Lucky forget his loved ones back in Port Charles! But if it kept him safe from the guards…No! No it wasn’t going to happen.
One hour later, Lucky was thrown back into the room. His clothes weren’t the only thing changed, his whole demeaner was. The spark that was present in his eyes only a couple of days ago was now gone. Bruises lined his face and arms.
"My God Lucky. What did they do to you?" Anna immediately went to him, but he drew back from her touch, a small whimper escaped his lips. "Lucky it’s me, Anna Scorpio. I’m not going to hurt you. I just want to make sure you’re alright."
Lucky whimpered a little louder and curled up into a tight ball on the floor. It was obvious to Anna that she wasn’t going to reach him.
"Oh Lucky."
"I see my men are finished with the young man," Faison came back in and stare at his captives. "So have you made your decision Anna my love? Young Spencer’s fate lies in your hands."
Anna looked at Lucky, so different from what he was a couple of days before. He was now a broken young man and any more of what had happened with the guards she feared would utterly destroy him. She couldn’t let that happen. Even though it meant giving up her own freedom and taking away Lucky’s memories, at least he’d be safe from those guards.
"Promise me that you will keep those men away from him," Anna hatefully glared at Faison.
"Why my love, why would I let those perverts anywhere near my son? Lucky will have a new guard…well bodyguard once you agree to my conditions."
"And you won’t turn him against his real
parents."
"Now Anna…"
"I mean it. I will not have Lucky hating his parents…or killing Robert. He will not be your personal assassin. If I mean that much to you you’ll agree."
Faison sighed in frustration. There went his original plans for young Spencer. But she was worth it. Besides, he’ll find another way to kill Robert. He didn’t really need Lucky to do it. "Ok. Fine. You win. Lucky will not be an assassin. As for Luke and Laura Spencer…how can our son hate people he’s never even heard of before."
"Ok. Fine. I’m yours…and so is he…do what you will," Anna sighed in defeat, her head bowed. She hoped and prayed that someday Robert and the Spencers will forgive her for what she was about to do. But her intentions are good. To keep Lucky safe. That was all that mattered until she could find them both a way out of this nightmare.
"Jules! Take Lucky to the chamber. We’ll begin the sessions immediately. Erase his past and replace it with the one I have created. And my lovely Anna. You will join me tonight…for dinner and then we retire to my room so we can become….familiar with one another," Faison leered down at her.
"As you wish," Anna swallowed, trying to keep the fear out of her eyes.
