CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

Anna Scorpio holds a cd rom disk in her and grins at her husband and his best friend.

"What do you have there?" Luke asked, standing from his desk. For the past couple of days Luke has been making arrangements for travel and waiting for Robert and Anna to bring him the disk that contains the information on Faison they needed.

"All of Faison’s properties and recent transactions are on this disk. We should be ready to locate where he’s holding the kids now," Anna hands the disk to Luke.

"What are we looking for?" Robert asked, standing behind Luke as he begins downloading the disk.

"Hiding places. Hiding places hard to find and hard to reach. Somewhere we wouldn’t expect him to be holding two hostages," Luke explained. "This sociopath sure does like his ships."

"That’s it!" Anna stands from her chair. "A ship. Faison has a collection of them and they’re a perfect place to hold someone hostage! Always moving around and you need a helicopter or another ship to rich them!"

"Well then how do we find out which ship he’s holding them on?" Luke leans back in his chair as the disk finishes downloading.

"I’ll call the shipyard where Faison keeps his ships and ask them which one Faison has taken out recently ," Robert stands straight.

"I’ll go to Sonny and ask about borrowing his chopper again," Luke nods.

"We’re going to find them Luke. We’re just one step closer," Robert grins at his friend who just stares back at the computer screen.

"Hang on Cowboy. We’re coming," Luke crosses his arms.

Helena’s Yacht…

Helena sets at her desk, her cellphone to her ear, her eyes wide with amazement and joy at her new discovery. Her search for Faison and his captives were quite fruitfull.

"The Cavalier is the ship he’s taken out? Perfect. Get my chopper ready. It’s time I pay a visit to Mr. Faison. Let him know that he’s messed with the wrong person."

Helena hangs up the phone and smiles evilly. Soon she’ll have Lucky Spencer back in her possession, and maybe this time she’ll even get a chance to go through with her original plan before turning him back over to her grandson, who of course will be grateful to her for rescuing his beloved brother.

"Soon my dear Nikolas. Soon you shall have everything your heart desires…and you’ll have me to thank for it. And I’ll finally be rid of that meddlesome Luke Spencer," Helena laughs maniacally, confident that her plans will work out to her advantage.

The room is dark. The only thing he can see is the sleeping form of Elizabeth over in her bed, unaware that he had awakened during the night. He gets up and kneels down next to her and lovingly strokes her hair, as Faison’s voice floats through his mind. "It’s always important to protect your queen Lucky. Kill anyone who tries to harm her."

Lucky nods as if in agreement. Faison was right about that. He’d kill anyone who tried to harm his queen…Elizabeth…she was the queen of his heart and if anyone tried to harm her he’d take care of them. "I will protect my queen," Lucky whispered to her, lightly kissing her cheek.

"Lucky," Elizabeth sighed in her sleep, turning towards him, her face peaceful.

Lucky smiled at her, happy that she was safe and calm and happy and he was going to make sure she stayed that way, no matter what he had to do to keep it that way.
