Two weeks had passed and still there’s been no word from Helena, much to Lucky’s chagrin.  The more quiet Helena was, the more dangerous she’ll be when she returns.  But everything was not doom and gloom for everyone.  Elizabeth was in a state of relief.  Things were back to normal between Lucky and herself.  They were now inseparable.  Wherever Liz went, Lucky was sure to follow.  There was barely a moment when they weren’t together.

On the outside, the Spencer family seemed to be at peace, but ever ready for trouble, Luke had requested additional guards and for the order to shoot to kill if Sarah Webber or Helena Cassadine showed their faces anywhere near Lucky and Elizabeth.  Of course there was no sighting of the ice queen.  It was like she had dropped off the face of the Earth.  Which was just fine by Luke.

Little did any of them know of Sarah’s hideout with Tom and the plan they’re about to put in motion.  They kept a close eye on the Spencer’s through Tom’s job at Deception.  Their chance to strike finally came on a Saturday.

Lucky had decided to return to work that day.  It was time to make an attempt to move on with his life.  What happened with Helena was horrible, but he wasn’t going to let it destroy him.  He had a beautiful wife and a family that loved him.  They were the ones that gave him strength for his decision.

Unaware of the impending danger lurking just outside her studio, Elizabeth continued to work on the portrait in front of her as Tom and Sarah lurked outside.  They had already disabled Sonny’s guards.  Now they only had to nab Elizabeth and carry out their plan.  They were so intent on watching their prey that they didn’t hear the soft click of high heels until Helena was right behind them.

“What have we here?” Helena crossed her arms, her expression curious

“Madam!” Sarah loudly exclaimed, Tom quickly clamped a hand over her mouth.

“Quiet, or she’ll know we’re out here,” he hissed.

        “Sorry,” Sarah apologized.

“Do tell me what you two are doing.  Stalking Elizabeth Spencer?”

“We plan to kidnap her and let Tom do what he wants with her Madam.”

“Miss Webber, you did not have my permission to do such a thing!”

        “But Mrs. Cassadine…”

“But!  Your idea does have its possibilities.  It may just give me a way to get Lucky back in my bed.  Hmmm.”

“Madam?” Sarah stared at her boss, wondering how the old woman would rearrange their already perfect plan.

“Take young Mrs. Spencer to my yacht.  Tie her to my bed.”

“And then I can do what I want?” Tom’s eyes lit up with a hungry glee.  “It’ll be just like that night in the park!”

“She is not to be touched!  Do you hear me?” Helena glared at her employee.

        “But you promised…”

“I attend to keep that promise Mr. Baker.  But if I’m to use her to get Lucky back, I  must have her unharmed.  After I get Lucky, then you may do what you want with the girl.”

Tom sighed with a mixture of impatience and relief.  At first he had thought the boss lady would hang him out to dry.  He was glad to see that was not so.

“Now I do suggest we begin now.  I want Lucky back in my bed before midnight,” Helena peered in at Elizabeth who had her back turned to the window.

“Ok.  Let’s go,” Sarah got to her feet and made her way to the front door, which was unlocked.

Elizabeth was putting the finishing touches on her painting when the door slammed shut.  She looked up to see Sarah and Tom with Helena standing behind them.

“Hi short stuff,” Tom smiled seductively.

“What are you doing here?” Elizabeth got to her feet, looking around for something to use as a weapon.  “I’m warning you, I’m under the protection of Sonny Corinthoes and his men have orders to shoot to kill!”

Helena laughed.  “My dear Elizabeth, Mr. Corinthoes men have been well taken care of.  Now do as you’re told and you won’t be hurt.”

Tom laughed at the instant fear in Elizabeth’s eyes as he advanced on her.  “Relax sweetheart.”

“Yes Lizzie.  Don’t make this hard on yourself.  I’m sure Lucky wouldn’t want to see you hurt,” Sarah crossed her arms.

“Lucky?” Elizabeth’s eyes fell on Helena and saw the sick greed in her eyes.  Of course!  It finally hits Elizabeth what the trio wanted with her.  They were going to use her to get to Lucky!  Well she had news for Helena!  She wasn’t going to let them u se her.  She looked around for an alternative exit, but found none.  She was going to have to get around them somehow.

Taking a deep breath, she darted for the door, but she never made it.  All courage fled her as Tom’s arms wrapped around her waist.

Zander and Lucky just got done locking up the office and decided to walk to Lucky’s house where Elizabeth should be finishing up dinner.  Zander frowned as his cell phone went off.  Usually he’d ignore it at this time of day, but he was expecting a call from Emily.

        “Zander here,” He greeted.

“Zander!” Elizabeth screamed, her voice full of desperation.

        “Liz?” Zander’s face went pale.

        “Zander help!  Help Lucky!”
“Help Lucky?  Liz what’s wrong?  Where are you?”

Lucky took the phone, the all too familiar feeling of doom filling his head.  “Elizabeth.”

To Lucky’s horror, it wasn’t Liz that answered.  It was his worst nightmare.  “Hello Lucky.”

“Helena,” Lucky looked at Zander, whose face lost even more color.

“Elizabeth was there Lucky, I swear.”

“Why Lucky, you don’t sound too happy to hear from me.  I’ve missed you lover.”

“Shut up!” Elizabeth’s voice angrily called out and was replaced with a shriek of pain.

“Elizabeth!  Elizabeth!  Helena if you even laid a finger on her I’ll…”

Lucky was cut off by another familiar voice, one that made his blood run cold.  “Hey Lucky.  Looks like we’ll be sharing again.  She’s even more beautiful then when I first saw her.  And guess what she’s wearing in honor of this occasion?  That’s right.  The same red dress she wore that fateful night we were together.  She looks so beautiful Lucky.  I wish you could see her.”

“You bastard!  If you lay one hand on her…”

“Lucky silence!” Helena was back.  Her voice was firm and evil.  “If you want your pretty wife to remain untouched by the likes of Tom Baker, you’ll listen to me and do exactly as I say.  Meet me on my yacht.  No Luke and none of Mr. Corinthoes silly guards.  I know you can get rid of them.  You’re Luke’s son of course.”
“Lucky no!” Elizabeth cried out.  Lucky’s heart broke when he heard her whimper at Tom’s whisper.

        “Not a word.”

Lucky began to panic.  He had to get her out of there and away from Tom!  “Ok fine!  Just keep him away from her!”

Helena’s cruel laugh sent shivers down Lucky’s spine.  “I’ll be waiting for you my pet.  And remember, your cooperation is vital.  I’m the only thing standing between your Elizabeth and Tom Baker.”

        The line immediately went dead.

“What’s happening to Elizabeth?” Zander immediately questioned his brother in law, who looked like the world was finally coming to an end.

“Helena kidnapped her.  She wants me to come to her yacht.  No Luke and no guards.”

“What?!  She’s got to be crazy!  Hand me the phone.  I’ll call the club and…”

“Tom Baker is there too.  If I don’t do as Helena says, she’ll have Elizabeth raped by that bastard again.  I can’t let that happen.  She’ll never survive it.”

“But Helena wants you back Lucky!  You’re walking right into her trap!  You know what she’s going to want from you.”

Lucky swallowed and stared at the ground.  “Yes I know.  But Elizabeth is worth it Zander.  I’d do anything for her.  But this is going to end tonight.  I guarantee it.  First I have to shake Sonny’s guards and then I want to get a bomb from somewhere,” a plan was beginning to form in Lucky’s head.  “Zander, I’m going to need your help.”

“You’ve got it,” Zander nodded eagerly.  He was going to make Helena pay for all she’s done to his family.
