SWING!
Summery: Instead of Titanic or the present, Jack and Rose are placed in 1933, in Nazi Germany. Jack is a Swing kid, the name of a group of young people that resisted the Nazi Regime. They love Swing Music and American fashion of the 1920’s. They would meet in dance halls. Rose is a young girl whose late father just happened to be Jewish and is in danger of being evicted from not only her house, but her city as well. This is their story of how love can conquer hate. This story is dedicated to all those that died in the holocaust and to the victims of the attacks of September 11th, 2001. May neither tragedy be forgotten.

Jack Dawson-17 years of age. Swing kid. In love with Rose Dewitt-Bukater.
Rose Dewitt Bukater-17 years of age. Falls in love with Jack Dawson
Ruth Dewitt Bukater- Rose’s mother. Thinks daughter should allow herself to be woed by Caledon Hockley, Hitler Youth in training.
Caledon Hockley- 18 years old. Hitler Youth. Has designs on young Rose, who he’s not aware is that Rose has gypsy blood..
Fabrizio DiRossi- 17. Jack’s best friend. Swing Kid
Tommy Ryan- 18. Jack’s friend. Swing Kid, under pressure from parents to become Hitler Youth.
Helga Dahl-16. Rose’s best friend, Fabrizio’s girlfriend. Swing kid.
