The small group of rescuers stood outside the elevator, leading down to Helena’s lab. Jason looked at the elevator skeptically. It just looked like some grating to him.

"Are you sure this is it Luke?" Jason asked.

"Positive. I saw the Hellcat use it herself. Now everyone, let’s try our best to stay together. If Helena catches any of us, most likely, we’re dead."

"Got it," Carly nodded. "Can we go get my cousin now?"

"Ok. Let’s go," Luke lifted the gate and entered the elevator.

"Oh my…what is this?" Carly gasped as the elevator reached the ground floor. "It’s a maze."
"Remember, we stick together," Luke led the way into the ladyrinth.

Elizabeth somehow ended up at the very edge of the group. She sighed sadly as she thought about Lucky. She really did miss him. This time when they found him, she was going to make sure that Helena never bothered them again.

They walked in silence, their eyes scanning for any sign of trouble. But no trouble came, much to Elizabeth and Luke’s surprise. The old bat must be feeling rather cocky right about now to leave her secret lab unguarded. Stopping to tie her shoe that had somehow became unlaced, Elizabeth took her eyes off her companions for only a second. When she looked back up, Luke, Jason, and Carly had disappeared.

"Luke! Jason! Carly!" She called, walking the maze, turning corners and hoping to find her friends. But she didn’t. They had disappeared. Sighing and feeling alone and scared, she continued to walk, having no idea where she was going. Maybe she’ll find Lucky on her own. Get him out while the others work to defeat Helena.

After what seemed to be hours of walking, tired and heartsick over her missing boyfriend, Elizabeth came to a stop in front of a door that had a bluish light shining through the cracks. Curious, she put her ear to the door and heard what sounded like seventies music.

She frowned. Why would Helena be playing seventies music? What was behind that door anyway? Well…there was only one way to find out.

Before his kidnapping, Lucky had taught Elizabeth how to pick a lock, using one of her hairpins. Pulling one out of her hair, she prayed that she remembered. Elizabeth worked the lock, feeling very uncomfortable and a bit scared. She sighed in relief as she heard a soft click and the door swung open. She gasped in shock as she saw a large movie screen showcasing the image of Luke raping a very young Laura. Setting in front of the screen, was Lucky, who was staring blankly at the screen. His eyes showed no emotions, but his mouth was set in a grim line. She gasped once again as she looked up at the screen and the message flashed over and over in big red letters: KILL THEM.

It was obvious what was going on! Helena was in the midst of brainwashing Lucky to kill his parent, using his anger about the rape against him. Knowing Lucky, if he did as she wanted, he’d never be able to live with himself after doing such a thing. Even at his angriest he had always protected his parents, never willingly betraying them.

Praying that she’d be able to get through to him, she ran and knelt before him, her heart aching how void of emotion his eyes were. All the warmth and love that was there a few days ago were now gone. "Oh Lucky, what did that witch do to you?" She hugged him. But as expected, he didn’t respond. He just kept staring blankly at the screen, taking it all in. Helena’s deadly instructions seeping into his mind.

"Lucky, we have to get out of here. But I need you to talk to me. Let me know that you’re ok. That she didn’t hurt you. Lucky, please…," She pleaded, holding back the tears as there was still no response. He didn’t even blink an eye in recognition. "Oh Lucky," she bowed her head, wanting to stay in that one spot, holding his hand and hoping he’d snap out of it. But she knew she couldn’t do that. She had to get Lucky to safety if nothing else. Looking at the screen, she realized something. The movie might be the reason Lucky wasn’t responding to her. Quickly, she left Lucky’s side to turn off the projector. As the sound stopped and the screen went black, she returned and untied his hands and feet.

"Lucky! Come on! Get up! We have to go."

To her surprise and relief, Lucky did exactly what he was told. He was still catatonic, but as least he was listening and moving. She hugged him tightly, hoping that he’ll come back to her. That Luke could take care of Helena for good this time. "Come on Lucky. Let’s get out of here," She pulled on his arm, just as the sound of heavy footsteps approached. Her heart pounded in her chest as they got closer and closer. She closed her eyes tightly as the footsteps stopped in front of the door. Helena was on the other side, she was sure of it. She was dead. The insane Cassadine matriarch was going to kill her. Elizabeth said a silent good bye to Lucky as the door swung open and the footsteps rushed inside.

"Elizabeth?" a familiar voice asked in shock and disbelief.

An ocean of relief ran through Elizabeth as she opened her eyes to see Nikolas standing in the doorway. He was out of breath, pale, and a sight for sore eyes. "Nikolas!" She ran into his arms. "I thought you were Helena!"

"Sorry to disappoint you," Nikolas pulled away. "What are you doing here and by yourself? If Helena catches you…"

"Luke, Carly, and Jason are here too, Nikolas. I kind of got separated and ended up here. There was this film of Luke and Laura…Luke was…"

"It’s ok. I have an idea of what it was about. Lucky was watching it?"

Elizabeth nodded her face grim. "It had this two words flashing throughout the whole thing. It read kill them. In big red letters. I’ve tried to get him to talk to me, but he won’t. But he does everything I say. If I tell him to walk. He’ll walk. If I tell him to stand, he’ll stand. Other then that…nothing."

"Damn. She’s been trying to turn us both against the Spencers. I’ve been succeeding in resisting her. But I guess Lucky wasn’t as fortunate."

"Well what do we have here?" Helena and Faison stood in the doorway. Helena tightly held a gun, a evil grin directed at her grandson. "It seems that we have company. Elizabeth Webber I presume. An look Faison. I think your work with Lucky has finally paid off. It’s too bad that the same can’t be said about my grandson. I did have such high hopes for him."

"I came here for Lucky and Nikolas," Elizabeth pushed back the fear that was rising from the depths of her soul. She couldn’t help but be afraid, but she didn’t have to let Helena know that. "Let them go."

"Not a chance little girl. The three of you are coming with me, and then, I have more guests to greet," She turned her cold stare on Lucky. "Lucky! Come here!"

"No!" Elizabeth tried to grasp his hand tighter, but it was useless. Helena’s control was too strong. His hand left hers and soon he was at Helena’s side. Completely under her control. "Lucky no."

Helena’s laugh was loud and evil. Young Lucky Spencer was now completely hers and soon her plans for his family will take affect. There was nothing to stop her now.
