The next day, Nikolas arrived at seven o’clock sharp to discuss their first move against his evil grandmother. He still couldn’t believe that Helena had gone so far as to kidnap Lucky just to get revenge against Luke Spencer.

"You’re here already? It’s barely seven," Carly rubbed the sleep out of her eyes.

"What can I say except I’m a early riser," Nikolas shrugged entering the penthouse. "Are Liz and my brother up yet?"

"No. They’re still sleeping. Something I was doing three minutes ago," Carly crossed her arms. "Set down. I’ll have Leticia fix you some breakfast. You can eat with Micheal."

"That’s ok. I just ate. So Jason’s asleep too I assume."

"Yep. All of us were asleep," Carly opened a box of cereal and poured her a bowl.

"Anymore nightmares from my brother?"

"None," Lucky appeared in the doorway, Elizabeth was leaning against him, her head lolled back on his shoulder. "Good morning big brother. You’re here early."

"I was always a early riser," Nikolas shrugged.

"Me too. Too bad Elizabeth isn’t. I told her to stay in bed, but she insists on staying at my side," Lucky laughed, setting his girlfriend into a chair. "Hey, I’m sorry I woke you up last night. It was pretty stupid of me to call you because of a dream."

"Hey don’t worry about it. If you ever need me for anything Lucky, rather a nightmare or anything at all…give me a call. I don’t mind," Nikolas looked at his brother meaningfully.

"You really mean that bro?"
"Of course," Nikolas nodded.

"I see everyone is awake," Jason came out, a cell phone in hand.

"Who are you calling?" Carly placed a hand on her hip.

"No one that concerns anyone in this room," Jason exited the kitchen before Carly could make another comment.

"It must be about Sorel," Elizabeth guessed, catching a glare from both Carly and Nikolas. "Or not. I really don’t know."
"Enough about Jason’s business. What are we going to do about Helena? I can’t hide out here forever you know," Lucky sighed.

"I can poison her," Nikolas opted.

"I can have Jason put a hit out on her," Carly replied.

"I can have my sister bore her to death on her report on the art of being perfect," Elizabeth’s eyes lit up.

"I thought you and Sarah got along now," Lucky frowned.

"We do. But I still think she’s little miss. Perfect," Elizabeth shrugged.

"More perfect than you?" Carly arched her eyebrow.

"Listen can we please get off of Sarah’s perfection and on to how to save my brother from my grandmother and her new man toy?" Nikolas cleared his throat.

"Nikolas…that thought about poisoning her…can you really do that?" Elizabeth asked, her voice revealing no emotion.

"Yeah. She trusts me enough. All I have to do is get her alone on the yacht, get a potent enough poison and put it in her drink when she’s not looking," Nikolas shrugged.

"Wait a minute, you mean you and Helena alone in the same room? I don’t like the sound of that Nikolas," Lucky shook his head. "She can catch on and then where will you be?"

"But it’s worth the risk. Come on Lucky, you want to be free to go on with your life don’t you? Besides, I’m the only one here that can get close enough to her. Plus she wouldn’t think me capable of doing such a thing. I’m the good, moral Cassadine. Remember?"

"It is a good idea," Elizabeth bit her lip, looking at Lucky. "It may be the only way to take her out."

"No," Lucky got up and paced the room. "I don’t want anyone in danger because of me."

"We are ready are Lucky," Nikolas tried to reason with his brother. All of us. Liz.. Me. Luke, Carly, Jason…we’re all in this. Now it’s time to take risks in order to stop her. Now if you’ll excuse me. I have a meeting with my family doctor, to discuss certain fatal poison’s," Nikolas got up and headed for the door.

"Nikolas!" Lucky called one last time, but he was ignored. Nikolas was out the door and preparing for their confrontation with Helena.
