New Orleans, Louisianna

The old lady peeks out her window at the townhouse across the street and her eyes narrow as she notices something new. New neighbors. Three young men and three young women. The men carried most of the bags. She couldn’t help but be curious. Slipping on her jacket she went out to welcome them to the neighborhood.

"Howdy neighbors," She smiled, hobbling across the street. "My name is Sandra DuBois and I live right across the street from you."

The blond young man smiled warmly and offered his hand. "Lance Saddlesworth. This is my fiancee Linda Webb, my brother Nathan Saddlesworth, our friend Alex Strait and his friance Elsa Quart, and my brother’s fiancee Gina Champaigne. We’re from Texas. Thought it’d be fun to move to New Orleans for a while."

"Well welcome. I hope you enjoy our fine city," Sandra nodded her head before hobbling back over to her building.

"Friendly lady," Nikolas stared after her.

"A little too friendly if you ask me," Gia shrugged. "Quick thinking with those names Lucky."

"Just remember to use them when we’re out in the open like this. You never know who’s listening," Lucky warned.

"Don’t worry. I don’t want psychogrannie sneaking up on us in middle of the night," Gia laughed.

"Sorel either," Zander shifted his bag to his other hand.

"Elsa Lucky? Couldn’t you have come up with something better?" Emily grumbled.

"Sorry Em, but I didn’t have time to think it over. It could be worse. Plus you have a id for Elsa."

"It’s not that bad Em. At least your name has some character to it. Unlike Linda," Elizabeth placed a comforting hand on her friend’s shoulder.

"Would you rather have had Imogene?" Lucky looked at his girlfriend.

"Ok ok. Linda’s fine. Can we go in now? My feet are beginning to kill me," Elizabeth smiled.

"Ok everyone. Here’s our humble abode," Lucky opened the townhouse to reveal dusty overturned furniture and cobwebs."

"When was the last time your family was here again Lucky?" Elizabeth looked around the place.

"Uh…Twelve years I think. I sorry it’s such a mess…we had to leave in a hurry and Smith’s men probably ransacked the place."

"We’ll just have to clean it up then," Emily ran a hand over the dust covered screen of a television set. "I wonder if this still works," She turned the tv on to her favorite soap. "Oh wow look! It’s Port Paul! My favorite soap!"

"What’s going on next?" Gia came up beside her.

"Oh Caroline’s husband left her and is staying in the woods with this new woman. I bet you she’s the daughter of that one man who was trying to kill him," Emily explained.

"No she’s not. I think she’s competition for Caroline," Elizabeth came up between the two girls.

"Women and their soaps," Zander sighed.

"Come on guys, let’s leave them to their soap and go on upstairs to unpack," Lucky laughed, leading the way.

Port Charles

Office on Helena’s Yacht

Helena paced the room when her guest was roughly pushed into the room. He angrily looked behind him as the door shut then turned to glare angrily at the woman before him.

"May I ask what this is all about and who you are?" He asked.

"I am Helena Cassadine Mr. Sorel and we have a common interest."

"And what interest is that?"

"You want to find Zander Smith and I want to find Lucky Spencer and my grandson Nikolas Cassadine."

"What do those two kids have to do with me?" Sorel asked, looking closely at Helena.

"A lot. They’re the traveling companions of the boy you’re looking for and I can guarantee that without my help you have no hope of tracking Zander."

Sorel laughed and folded his arms. "And what makes you think this?"

"Because Zander is traveling with Lucky Spencer. Son of Luke Spencer. Ring a bell?"
"Yeah. Luke put Frank Smith in prison and was on the run from him for quite a while. Gave ole Frank a run for his money."

"Yes he did. In fact it was nearly impossible for Frank to catch Luke. He was always one step ahead. Believe me when I say that Luke’s son had inherited his father’s traits. He knows the game of being on the run, how to shake a tail, use alias’s…how to remain inconspicuous."

"Zander knows nothing of that though," Sorel shook his head. "It’s no problem for me."

"Zander is traveling with Lucky so I’m sure he’s teaching him the tricks of the trade. Where I come in is this…I know every trick the Spencer’s hold up their sleeves. I know what to look for and how to intercept them. Studying the Spencers was a lifework for me. So when I find Lucky, I also find Zander."

Sorel nods. "I understand now. You want to hand over Zander when you find Lucky."

Helena laughed. "There’s a catch Mr. Sorel. You do the same for me. You notify me of any leads, just as I’ll notify you. And if you catch up with them first, you hand Nikolas, Lucky, and their two girlfriends over to me. No questions asked."

"Sure," Sorel nodded. "Is that all you wanted with me Mrs. Cassadine?"
Helena smiled. "Why of course. You may leave now. Andreas will escort you back to the mainland. Believe me when I say that you will not regret this partnership. Together we will both get what we want."

Sorel smiled evilly as he left the room. Helena smiled happily. It indeed was a stroke of luck this partnership. Together, nothing could stand in their way. Not even Luke Spencer and his games.
