Everyone was waiting for Lucky and Zander’s return at Sonny’s penthouse. From Luke Spencer to Nikolas Cassadine. Elizabeth sat on the couch anxiously watching the door. It felt like years has passed since she last saw Lucky and now she was finally going to see him again after all this time. She frowned when she thought about Helena Cassadine. If she ever got her hands on that woman, she would stab her through the heart with a wooden stake and cut off her head.

"Penny for your thoughts," Laura sat next to her daughter in law who was nervously wringing her hands.

"I was just wondering what Helena could have done to Lucky. How bad off is he this time? You remember the last time Faison kidnapped Lucky. He had it so Lucky didn't even remember us."

"But he remembered you. Darling, you’re a part of Lucky now. You’re in his heart. No matter what happens or how bad things get, Lucky will never truly forget you. You know that don’t you?"
Elizabeth smiled and nodded. "It just that sometimes I need a little reminding. What is taking them so long? Sonny said they were on their way?"
"Why don’t you go upstairs and get some sleep. It’s been a long couple of weeks for you. If they arrive before you wake up, I’ll come get you."

Elizabeth nodded, stifling a yawn at that moment. "I can’t wait to see him. I need to feel him in my arms again."

"I know sweetie. No go get some sleep," Laura watched Elizabeth disappear upstairs and into Sonny’s spare bedroom. She didn’t notice Alexis standing right next to her until she turned her attention back to the first floor.

"Thank you. You’ve helped her so much. I don’t know how I’m going to repay you."

"There’s no need. The fact that she makes my son happy is all the thanks I need. We all love Elizabeth. She’s been a honorary Spencer from day one."

"Yep. It doesn’t matter what type of blood runs through her viens," Luke grinned, coming up behind Alexis. "That’s a fine girl you have there Natasha."

Everyone jumped at the cryptic knock at the door. Sonny is the one that opens it to Johnny, three of Sonny’s guards and Lucky and Zander. Lucky looked like a deer caught in the headlights as the guards ushered them in while Zander was ecstatic. He immediately ran to Emily who flung herself into his arms.

"Cowboy?" Luke approached his son who looked at him as if he was a stranger. What did that bitch do to his son now?

"Where’s Helena?" was all Lucky said, sweeping the room with his eyes. He looked at Zander accusingly. "Where’s Helena. You said we were going to find her."

Zander didn’t answer, he just looked at Luke who was staring at his son in deep concern. He knew that Luke was going to be out for blood this time. Helena’s days were definitely numbered.

"Helena’s not here Cowboy. You’re safe. You hear me. You’re safe from that barracuda and you’re going to remain that way."

Lucky shook his head and backed up for the door. "No…I have to go back…she’ll be angry when she finds me gone…I have to…"

"You going nowhere kiddo," Roy stood in front of the door.

"What’s wrong? What did she do to you cowboy?" Luke asked, trying to get his son’s attention. It was Zander that answered.

"She did a job on him. A good one at that. She even had him repressing memories of Elizabeth. I don’t know how she did it, but she did," Zander nodded. "And not only that, Sarah Webber was helping her."

"Sarah Webber? You mean…" Nikolas stared at Zander in disbelief.

"Liz’s adoptive sister. That’s exactly who I mean. Helena kidnapped me for Sarah until she could get her hands on Nikolas. And she brainwashed Lucky into being one of her boy toys. He doesn’t even remember Elizabeth unless he’s asleep and Helena’s not around," Zander explained. "The only reason he left with me is because I told him we were going to find Helena who had stepped out."

"Which was a lie!" Lucky glared at Zander angrily. Why couldn’t Zander see the danger of coming back here? Now Helena was angry and would be out for blood. Didn’t Zander see that coming back here had signed their death warrants? "You can stay here but I’m going back before she finds out!" Lucky began for the door just to find his escape route blocked by Luke and Nikolas.

"Sorry bro. We can’t let you go," Nikolas shook his head.

"Get out of my way," Lucky growled.

"Sorry Cowboy, but not a chance. I’m not letting you go back to that she-devil," Luke looked at Bobbie who held a doctor’s bag and nodded his head as if to signal her.

Angry, Lucky threw a punch a Nikolas, knocking away from the door, but Luke was too fast. As soon as Lucky’s hands was on the knob, Luke had grabbed his son around the shoulders and with a struggle pulled him back. Luke felt a hint of pride at how strong his son had become over the years, but it made it a lot harder to hold on to him. "Hey Robert! Can I have some help over here?"

It took Robert, Roy and Luke to finally subdue Lucky, holding him to the floor. Laura looked on in horror.

"Luke be careful. Please don’t hurt him," She didn’t bother to hold back her tears.

"I’m trying my best not to Angel," Luke grunted. "Bobbie, now."

Bobbie only nodded, taking out a needle and a bottle of clear liquid.

"What is that?" Zander asked just as Elizabeth came to the stop of the stairs, the sounds of the struggle woke her up. Her eyes widened, wondering if she was dreaming.

"It’s a sedative. It’ll put him to sleep for at least twenty-four hours," Bobbie explained. "Don’t worry, it won’t hurt him."

"Hurry it up Barbara Jean. We can’t hold him for much longer," Luke growled.

"Well it’s not helping that he’s not setting still Luke. We want to make sure this gets into his system," Bobbie glared at her brother before inserting liquid-filled needle into Lucky’s neck. "There. It should be working in moment now."

"L-Lucky?" Elizabeth walks up to stand behind Bobbie, a tear in her eye. What had Helena done to him?
Lucky suddenly stopped struggling and his eyes widen to see her there. The one person he had thought he’d never see again. The one person he was willing to forget to keep safe and she was there with him now. "E-Elizabeth?" That was all he said before the sedative took affect and he fell back into his father’s arms fast asleep.

"Lucky?" Elizabeth pushed through the throng of men to get to the man she loved. Luke went ahead and let Elizabeth take his place. She rested his head in her lap and lovingly stroked his hair. "What did she do to him?"
"Classic case of brainwashing," Robert snorted.

"Oh God…how much more can he take?"

"Sonny, can you do me another favor? Can you send one of your men to get Kevin Collins? I need him here when Lucky wakes up. We need him deprogrammed," Luke looked at his friend.

"I’m on it."

"I promise you cowgirl, Helena’s signed her death warrant the moment she kidnapped him. And she signed it in blood the moment she brainwashed him as well. She is dead. She will not walk away from this alive this time," Luke vowed. "She’s dead. I’m going to make sure of it."
