When Sarah
returned to Lucky and Liz’s house she found Nikolas setting on a loveseat
leafing through a magazine. She smiled flirtatiously, wanting to get a head
start on Helena’s plans.
"Why
Nikolas hello," She sauntered over to him to set down, placing a hand on
his knee. "It’s been so long since I’ve seen you last."
"Hello
Sarah," Nikolas forced a smile. The minute that Sarah walked through the
door he could tell there was something wrong with her. Something in her eyes
contained the same thing Helena had in hers. Evil. Pure, unadulterated evil. He
was going to have a long talk with Lucky later on. Tell him it was better to
have Sarah stay at a hotel.
"And I
must say you’re even better looking now then you were two years ago," The
blonde crooned, scooting closer to Nikolas.
"Ahem!"
Nikolas
sighed with relief when he saw Gia in the doorway, her hands on her hips.
"If you
don’t mind get your hoochie mama hands off my boyfriend," Gia loudly
declared.
"Excuse
me?" Sarah looked at Gia as if she didn’t understand what she was saying.
"I
said," Gia walked up and forced Sarah’s hand off of Nikolas’s knee.
"Get your hoochie mama hands off my boyfriend! Now do you
understand?"
"Perfectly,"
Sarah glared at her new nemesis.
"What’s
going on in here?" Elizabeth appeared in the doorway and stopped when she
saw the scene. She couldn’t help but smile. "Oh Sarah I see you’ve met
Gia. Gia this is my sister Sarah."
"So
you’re Sarah? I thought…well you and Liz look nothing alike. That’s for
sure," Gia snorted releasing Sarah.
"Well
there’s no rule saying we have to. Now if you’ll excuse me I have to go upstars
and get cleaned up for dinner," Sarah went up to the room that was made up
for her.
"So
that’s Sarah?" Gia looked up after her.
"Lucky…I
need to talk to you outside please," Nikolas motioned towards the door.
Lucky
shrugged. "Sure. Gia, make sure that the chicken doesn’t burn."
"Sure," Gia nodded. Watching her boyfriend and Lucky disappear out
the door.
"What
is this about?" Lucky asked.
"I’m
getting bad vibes from Sarah man."
"What?"
"There’s something…wrong about her. I think it’d be wise if you and
Elizabeth told her to stay at the PC hotel. I’ll pay for the room if you want,
I just don’t feel right having her stay with my brother who’s already been
through enough."
Lucky laughed. "Nikolas come on. This is Sarah. Sweet Sarah, the same girl
we used to fight over. The one that once meant the world to you, you got kicked
out of school for her."
"Lucky
I’m serious. There’s something about Sarah that reminds me of Helena. I can’t
put my finger on it but it’s there."
Lucky
sighed. "Are you sure this isn’t just you being jittery about having your
girlfriend and your ex-girlfriend in the same room?"
"Positive. At least promise me you’ll keep a eye on her. Please…"
"Ok. I
promise. Even though I think you’re being paranoid, but I’ll keep a eye on her.
Make sure she doesn’t start any plans to take over the world."
"Thank
you," Nikolas nodded heading back into the house, Lucky following behind
him.
All through
the evening Nikolas kept his eye on Sarah and became convinced that she was bad
news. He definitely was going to keep a eye on her. He’s not about to let
anything or anyone threaten his brother’s happiness ever again.
