Ten hours later…
Helena enters the compound, her fists clenched, anger in her eyes
when she enters the secret room where Faison is leaned back watching Liz and
Lucky sleeping peacefully.
"What requires my undivided attention Faison? The children
seem to be quite peaceful!"
"It’s not them my love. It’s me. I need your undivided
attention," Faison smiles seductively, pulling Helena into his lap. He
grabs his remote control and swivels the chair to face the wall. Pressing the
button a door slides open to reveal a king size bed. He stands up, picking
Helena up in his arms. "Now my love. It’s time for me to divulge in your
endless pleasures."
"Faison! What about the children?" Helena turns to stare
at the scene of a sleeping Lucky and Elizabeth.
"Sleeping peacefully they are. Let’s be extra quiet so they
remain that way."
"No! Faison put me down! Faison I will not be taken like
this!" Helena squirms in his arms to no avail. "Let me go!!!"
Faison only laughs and throws Helena onto the bed. He falls on top of her
before she can get up. "Tonight is the night of your wildest fantasies my
sweet."
Meanwhile while, Faison and Helena are divulging in their endless
pleasures and wildest fantasies, Emily and Nikolas sneaks into the compound
checking each door. Both look around careful of any guards.
"Nikolas look!" Emily points to two guards gaurding one
door at the end of the hall. "Do you think she’s keeping them in
there?"
"Why else would she have guards posted there. Let me handle
this. Stay behind me."
Emily nods and follows Nikolas as he briskly walks up to the
guards. "Hi me and my girlfriend are lost and I thought…"
Before Nikolas could get the sentence out the guards move to
attack. But thanks to the martial arts training Stefan had insisted he’d get,
Nikolas quickly disarms the gaurds and hands the weapons to Emily.
"Hold these on them. I’ll go in and get Lucky and Liz,"
Nikolas grabs the card key from the utility belt on one of the guards and opens
the door. His eyes widen when he sees, Liz and Lucky standing at the end of the
bed, their arms wraped tightly around each other, eyes wide in fear.
"Lucky! Liz!" Nikolas cried in joy racing over to his
brother and embracing both in his arms. "I knew you were alive! I knew
it!"
"I knew you would come," Lucky embraced his brother.
"How did you find out we weren’t dead?" Elizabeth asked
confused.
"I’ll explain later. Helena’s here and if I know her, she’s
having this room watched. We have to leave now."
"Emily?" Lucky asks, when they exit the room and spot
Emily holding the gun on the guards.
"Oh my God. I didn’t believe Nikolas at first but he was
right! You two are still alive," Tears of joy appear in Emily’s eyes.
Nikolas takes the guns away from her so she can go embrace her friends.
"You have to the count of five to get into that room. If
you’re still standing here, I’ll start shooting," Nikolas removes the
safety latch. "One…Two…"
The guards quickly dart into the room and Nikolas slams the door
shut and locks it. "Come on! We know the way out! Follow us!" Nikolas
beckons grabbing Emily’s hand. Together, the four musketeers escape Helena and
Faison’s compound and race to the Cassadine private airfield in a rental car
that Nikolas had rented when they arrived.
One hour later…
Helena sets up and slips out from under the sleeping Faison. She
smiles with pleasure at the memories of their lovemaking. That was the best
she’s ever had…not even her beloved Mikkos was that grand.
She strolls to the tv screens and gasps with horror.
"Faison!!! Faison!!!" She screams.
"My love what’s wrong," Faison’s by her side and he
slams his fist down on to the table in extreme anger. Instead of the young
teenage couple that was there a hour ago, there were two guards setting on the
bed, their heads in their hands. "How can this be!!!"
Both Helena and Faison race down to the room and opens the door.
Both gaurds stand, shivering in their boots.
"Sir! Madame! We can explain!" Guard one cries out.
"Boy and girl came up, we tried to stop them, but boy somehow
disarmed us. He handed our weapons to the girl and she held it on us. He went
in and got captives and forced us inside. That’s the last we’ve seen of
them!"
"Dark haired teenaged boy? Cassadine features?" Helena
asked, suddenly curious, remembering finding Nikolas on the yacht, remorseful
about his behavior towards her.
The guard nods slowly. "We’re sorry Madame…please be
merciful."
"Fools! You shouldn’t be asking for her mercy! You should be
asking for mine!" Faison aims the gun and shoots each guard in the head,
killing them instantly.
"What a waste," Helena shakes her head. "No matter,
they’re on their way back to Port Charles this very minute. It’ll be wise to
lay low for a while til the situation settles down."
"But Helena! They couldn’t have gotten far, if we leave right
now…"
Helena slaps Faison hard against the face, her icy blue eys shining with fury.
"Don’t be stupid Faison! They had help by no other than my own grandson
who has access to the Cassadine private jet and credit accounts! They’re in the
air right now heading for the states! We lay low, not here, but on ice princess
island. The last place Luke Spencer will think to look. And when the time is
right, we will return and have our revenge on not only the spencers, but my
dear son and grandson for their meddling! Do I make myself clear?!"
"Yes Helena," Faison nods, his head bowed.
"Good. Now pack your things. We will be leaving in ten
minutes."
The Cassadine Jet…
Lucky and Liz set on one side of the couch, while Emily and
Nikolas set on the other side. All four have a can of soda and some chips in
their hands.
"Now answer my question," Elizabeth speaks up. "How
did you two know that we weren’t dead."
"Well actually it was Nikolas…I was just humoring him,"
Emily’s gaze dropped to the ground ashamed she doubted her friends.
"Well my explanation will sound corny…but I felt it. I felt
that Lucky wasn’t dead but in trouble. So I dug deeper and found the proof I
need that Helena had faked your deaths and where she was hiding you."
"So you came to all alone? No help from my father?"
Lucky’s voice had a hint of disappointment that Luke had actually fallen for
Helena’s tricks.
"He was so overcome by grief Lucky…there was no way he could
have known."
"But you did. And we’re only half brothers…why didn’t he feel
it too? He’s my father for god’s sake," Lucky angrily sighed. Nikolas
didn’t know what to say. He can only look at his hands.
"Maybe the connection between brothers is stronger,"
Emily shruggs. "Plus, with all the drinking that luke did…"
"So he was drunk the whole time?" Lucky asked.
"Not the whole time. Just most of the time," Nikolas
bites his lip. "Listen it doesn’t matter. What matters is that we’ve found
you two before Helena could do anything and you’ll be back home with Audrey and
Lulu in no time. Plus it’ll bring Laura back to herself…"
"What? What happened to mom?" Lucky gets a bad feeling.
Nikolas is quiet for a second then he takes Lucky’s hand and holds
it tightly. "She couldn’t handle it Lucky. Like me she still felt you
here, but everyone was trying to convince her you were gone. Her mind couldn’t
take it so she had a mental breakdown. She’s in the hospital right now, resting
Stefan likes to call it."
"Let me guess who tried to convince her I was dead…good old
dad," Lucky’s resentment was clear in his voice.
"He didn’t know Lucky. He didn’t know."
"Well he should have!" Lucky glares at his brother, than
his expression softens. "Sorry."
"Don’t apolagize. You have every right to yell at me after
what my grandmother put you through."
"But you came through for me man. You didn’t listen to what
you saw and followed your gut instincts,"
"Just like my little brother taught me," Nikolas grins.
"This has taught me one valuable lesson Lucky. Never take you for granted
again. I had thought you would always be there…and now I know how quickly the
ones I love can be taken away. I’ll never take our relationship or any other
relationship for granted again," Nikolas wipes away his tears.
"Me either bro," Lucky hugs his brother tightly.
"Me either."
Liz and Emily smile at the scene of two brother bonding closer than they ever
did before.
