Luke and Robert entered the compound slowly, trying not to make any unnecessary noise. The longer Helena was clueless about their presence, the better. The two men looked at each other awkwardly.

"So…where do we go from here, Mate?" Robert asked, wanting to hunt down Faison as soon as possible. He wanted to make the mad man pay for destroying his family.

"We split up. I’m sure that Helena and Faison both are expecting us. They’re most likely in their separate corners."

"Well…good luck, mate."

"You too."

The two men shook hands and headed in separate directions. Both were determined to make sure that Helena and Faison’s reign of terror was over.

Robert slowly moved through the hallway, keeping his eyes peeled for any signs of the man who had murdered his wife…who had tried to kill him. He turned the corner and finally came across a room and listened for any sounds within. The only sound he heard was of a familiar voice humming. A very familiar voice actually.

"Come in Mr. Scorpio. I’ve been expecting you for some time now," the voice beckoned him inside.

Frowning, Robert gripped his gun and entered the room. He frowned at the rows of television screens and a control panel on one wall. In front of the control panel was the man he sought. Cesar Faison. The older man sat facing him, nonchalantly puffing on a cigar. There was a self-satisfied glow in his eyes.

"Robert Scorpio," Faison greeted his old nemesis. "What an unpleasant surprise."

"Cesar Faison. It doesn’t surprise me one bit that you’d survived. My sweet Anna dead. And you….still here. A thorn in my side." Robert aimed the gun, anger and intense hatred filling him to the brim. He could kill Faison right here and now. But first, there were some questions that needed to be asked. "So…I’ve heard you’ve been busy. Tormenting an old friend of mine."

"Oh yes. Luke Spencer. I forgot that you knew each other. Best friend, right?"

"You and Helena both have been a thorn in our sides for way too long. This is ending today."

Faison laughed in complete amusement. "And who’s going to end it? You? Luke? Neither of you had stopped us before. What makes you think that you can stop us now?"

Robert’s finger was on the trigger. It took all of his will power not to pull the trigger. "This time you’ve gone too far. This time you two took away the most important people in our lives. My wife and his son. Did you really think we would let you get away with that?"

"I wasn’t expecting you to come back from the dead," Faison snorted. "So…what are you planning to do with that gun?"
"What do you think?"

Faison smiled cruelly, enjoying this game. "You know, she didn’t die right away. I pulled her from the water and that night…ah it was full of passion. But sadly, she died the next morning."

"You’re lying," Robert growled.

"The last face she saw was mine. The last voice she heard was mine. The last name she said…"

Red hot anger consumed Robert. All he wanted at that moment was Faison dead. "Shut up Faison. I’m warning you…"

Faison’s smile was even crueler then before. He stepped up to Robert, until they stood face to face. "The last name she said was mine."

BANG! The roar of the gun filled room as Robert lost all control of his anger. Faison was no longer standing face to face with him. The mad man was now a dead corpse at Robert’s feet. No longer was he a threat to either the Scorpio’s or the Spencer’s. He could now collect his daughter from Paris and live a happy and safe life.

But things were not all well just yet. Helena was still out there, her insane plans turning more and more diabolical by the moment. Luke was probably going to need his help. Frowning, Robert took a look at the television screens on the wall. One of the cameras were focused on two young men in their late teens/early twenties. Both were tied and gagged to what looked to be a day bed. The blonde must be Lucky. He was a mixture of both of his parents obviously.

Robert’s frown deepened even more as he saw Helena enter, wearing a silk nightgown. She had a look in her eyes, telling Robert that she was on the prowl.

Yes, Luke and the two boys were going to need his help as soon as possible. Glaring at Faison’s dead body one last time, Robert headed out to find Luke and the boys. The sooner he got there, the better.

When Luke finally reached the room where Helena kept the boys, not even thinking twice, he bounded in and came to a stop. He looked at Helena in disgust as she tried to derobe a struggling Nikolas.

"I knew you liked them young, but your own Grandson? That’s just plan sick," Luke aimed the gun. He was planning to kill her anyway, but he wanted Laura’s son out of the way. Just in case he missed.

"Oh Luke, you came. How delightful," Helena ran knurled fingers through Nikolas’s ebony black hair. "Isn’t that delightful my darling?"

"Get away from him Helena! Now! You won’t be seducing Laura’s son tonight!"

"Oh is that so?" Helena’s hand dropped away from Nikolas. "Very well then. I won’t." She stepped away from Nikolas and stepped up to Lucky. She began running her hand through his hair, despite the boy’s terrified whimpers. "I’ll just move on then. A Spencer is a better choice anyway."

"Get away from him Helena!" Luke demanded, tightening his grip on the gun.

Seeing that she was provoking him, Helena leaned over and kissed Lucky’s neck, looking at Luke the whole time. "He just doesn’t understand us. Does he baby?"

Anger flaring up, Luke squeezed the trigger. Robert came running in just as Helena’s dead body hit the ground.

"She’s dead," Robert felt for a pulse. "You’ve killed her."

"Good," Luke untied his son. "Do me a favor. Untie the prince over there. How about Faison?"

"Dead," was Robert’s flat reply as he untied Nikolas, trying to banish the thoughts of Anna out of his head.

"Good," Luke nodded.

Rubbing his wrists, Nikolas glared down at Helena’s still form. He was glad she was dead. Now she could never hurt him or his family ever again.

"It’s over Cowboy. She’s dead. She can never hurt us again," Luke wrapped his arms around his pale son, who couldn’t stop shivering from the close encounter. "You can come home now."

"Dad…Elizabeth…. Is she?"

"Her and Em are in New York….she should be starting classes this week actually," Luke explained.

"I can’t wait to see her," Lucky sighed, picturing their reunion in his head.

"Let’s get out of here," Robert looked around the room. "I’ll take care of the bodies later.

Happy that their ordeal was over, Lucky and Nikolas followed Luke and Robert outside. Relief and excitement for the future shined in his eyes.
