Two days had passed since the shocking revelation about Tom Baker, but things have not returned to normal. Lucky now never left Elizabeth’s side and she wasn’t complaining. In fact, she loved having Lucky right by her side everyday. Now, instead of being a jittery mess, she felt safe and secure.

Meanwhile, Luke was putting his plan to take care of Tom Baker into motion. The first call he made was to Sonny. He knew the Mob Boss well and knew just how to intimidate.

"Corinthoes here," Sonny answered, sounding preoccupied.

"Hey Sonny. It’s Luke. I need a favor."

Tom Baker sighed tiredly. It’s been a long day. Thanks to Paula’s nagging about him finding a job. He tried to explain to her that a job in photography was out of the question. After the mess with the Quartermaine kid, no modeling or publishing agency would have him. But Paula was firm. It was either, find some kind of work or sleep on the docks. So he had gone out. Applied, got interviewed, and got turned down. So he came down to the docks to take a breather. He didn’t know what he was going to do if he couldn’t find a job. Maybe Paula will take pity on him and let him stay with her anyway.

"Tom Baker," a tall burly man with ebony black hair and stern brown eyes stood in front of him, hands folded in front of him.

"Yeah?" He looked up at the man, wondering what he had done now. From the look of the man, it wasn’t good.

"Come with us," another man came up from behind and pressed the cold barrel of a gun into his side.

"No questions," the first man ordered.

"Yeah. Not another word," the gun man hissed, forcing Tom to his feet.

Two hours later, Tom found himself in a deserted warehouse, tied to a metal chair. He had no idea why this happening or who was responsible. The only people he could think of that had this type of power was the Quartermaines. He really hoped that this wasn’t them. If it was, he was as good as dead. He’s beginning to think that he was alone for the night when he heard the click of shoes against the cold cement floor and smelt the scent of cigar smoke in the stale air.

"Hello! Who’s there?!" Tom called, growing frightened. He had a bad feeling about this.

A whistle broke the silence as the shadow slid across the floor. Finally the shadow’s owner appeared. He was a tall man with graying blond hair and piercing blue eyes. A man that he had seen around town numerous times before he was sent to prison.

"Oh it’s you! The man that stole my sister’s son!" Tom snorted. "And got away with it."

Luke tossed away his cigar and got down face to face with Tom. "Look who it is. The man who raped poor little Lizzie Webber and got away with it."

In response, the rapist/extortionist spit in Luke’s face. With a snarl of disgust, Luke wiped the liquid off and sent a hard fist into Tom’s leering face. "For the record, I didn’t kidnap Lucky. I rescued him. Get your facts straight."

"What do you want from me?" Tom glared at his captor. "I can have you arrested for this!"

Luke just laughed. "Don’t bother. They won’t believe a word you say."

"What do you want?"

"To talk to you. Man to man. See what you have to say to someone your own size. I’m sure you’re up to it. You like provoking kids, let’s see if you can provoke a man."

"Oh. I see…the kid told you about our little chat. I have to tell you, you did a good job raising Lucas. So gallant and noble. Makes me curious how those genes will reveal themselves…"

Luke’s fist again met Tom’s already bloody nose. "Now let’s get down to the real reason I brought you here. I have a warning for you."
"Oh really? What would that be?"
"Leave my son and daughter in law alone. I don’t even want you on the same street as they are."

"What will you do to me if I don’t listen? Rape me like you did your lovely wife so long ago? Yes, I know all about the campus disco and why young Lucas ran away from home."

Pushing down his rising anger, Luke walked away from Tom and coldly stared at him. "I’m not the one you need to be afraid of Baker. Have you ever heard of Sonny Corinthoes?"

"Local Mob Boss. What does he have to do with any of this?"

"A lot. He despises men who hurt kids. Not to mention, he’s best friends with Jason Morgan. Big brother to little Emily Quartermaine. You do remember her don’t you Tom?"

"So. They’re not here. It’s just me and you Spencer."

Luke smiled knowingly. He walked to the door leading into the next room. "Hey Sonny! He’s all yours!"

Tom’s eyes widened as two men, Sonny and Jason entered the room.

"I pulled Jason in on this too Luke. I hope you don’t mind. I just thought that he deserved to know that we have the punk that posted those pictures in custody."

"I don’t mind at all. In fact, the more, the merrier. I just wish I could stay and watch, but I promised Laura that I’d be back early to watch Lulu," Luke grinned.

"We understand. Don’t worry. We’ll take care of Baker here," Sonny brought out his gun.

Luke smiled as he looked at Baker one last time. He was glad to see that Tom looked scared senseless. "Have fun Baker. Remember this the next time you decide to provoke a Spencer."

Luke walked out of the room. His smile widened as he heard Tom pleading for his well-being. It was music to his ears.
